It really is big!
24 inches wide by 26 inches high, the heavy steel board sits in the chalk rail or hangs on hooks. So large it can be seen from anywhere in the classroom. Big magnetic pieces of Linares design are the same figures used in the chess manuals, Chess Life, and in the newspaper chess columns. The board has algebraic notation on the lower edge and along the left side.
We made it as a companion to our Chess 2k which is becoming increasingly popular with players, teachers and coaches. Uses modern algebraic notation with large refrigerator magnets as the playing pieces (Linares design).
