I've combined my experience in designing classroom games and puzzles with an abiding interest in early reading to create a system of card decks for motivating the struggling reader, whether he or she be dislexic, a beginner, or an adult just learning to read English.
The tutor selects part, or all, or some combination of cards or decks and teaches a game, the scoring of which practices and reinforces the various reading skills.
The users manual includes rules games leading from the very simple to some that are quite challenging. All the games use the same back design on the cards, so the mix and degree of difficulty and the principles taught can be as varied as your imagination suggests. And there are blank cards with each deck for special needs!
